Four levels

Students join at the level that fits them, not automatically at level one. The admissions assessment decides where they start.

1. 1

   AI Explorer

   6 weeks

   Understand what these tools are, and what they are not.

   They will be able to

   • Ask an AI tool a question that gets a useful answer
   • Spot when an answer is confidently wrong
   • Use AI to research a topic and cite where the facts came from
   • Explain, in their own words, what a language model is doing

   Final project: A researched presentation on a topic of their choice, with sources checked by hand.

2. 2

   AI Creator

   8 weeks

   Make things — documents, images, presentations, plans.

   They will be able to

   • Produce a polished presentation or report far faster than by hand
   • Generate and edit images for a specific purpose
   • Build a study or revision system that runs itself
   • Judge when the AI output is good enough and when it needs rewriting

   Final project: A complete piece of work — a campaign, a report or a pitch — made start to finish.

3. 3

   AI Developer

   10 weeks

   Build software with AI as the assistant, not the author.

   They will be able to

   • Write, read and debug real code in Python or JavaScript
   • Use AI-assisted coding without losing track of what the code does
   • Connect to an AI API and build something on top of it
   • Test their own work and explain why it is correct

   Final project: A working application, deployed, that somebody else can use.

4. 4

   AI Innovator

   12 weeks

   Solve a real problem for real people.

   They will be able to

   • Take a problem from an idea to a working, tested product
   • Decide where AI genuinely helps and where it is the wrong tool
   • Present and defend the work to an audience that asks hard questions
   • Leave with a portfolio a university or employer will take seriously
