The six WAEC maths topics that appear every single year

Having worked through every WAEC mathematics paper from 2015 to 2025, six topics appear without fail — usually worth close to half the marks between them.

1. Number bases
2. Indices and logarithms
3. Quadratic equations
4. Circle theorems
5. Trigonometry and bearings
6. Statistics and probability

This does not mean ignore everything else. It means that if you are short on time, these six give you the highest return per hour.
