Using an AI tutor without cheating yourself
The line between a tool that teaches you and a tool that thinks for you is thinner than it looks.

An AI tutor will happily hand you a finished answer. If you take it, you have outsourced exactly the part that would have taught you something.
Ask for the method, not the answer
"Walk me through how to approach this" produces something you can reuse. "What is the answer" produces something you will have forgotten by tomorrow.
Attempt first, always
Write down your own attempt before you ask. Then ask the tutor to find the flaw in your reasoning. This is where the learning actually happens.
