Instructor Terms

The additional terms that apply when you publish courses on Skaibot Hub.

Version 1 · in force from 1 Aug 2026

1. Applying and approval

Anyone can apply to teach. We review applications for subject credibility and clarity of teaching. Approval is at our discretion and is not a guarantee of enrolments or income.

You may build a draft course while your application is under review; you can publish once it is approved.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of your material. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, stream, promote and — where you enable it — allow learners to download it, for as long as your course is published.

You confirm you hold every right needed for the material you upload, including for images, video, audio and past questions. Uploading material you do not have the right to publish will result in removal and may end your instructor account.

3. Quality standards

Courses are reviewed before publication and can be unpublished if they fall below these standards.

  • Audio must be intelligible and video legible at 720p.
  • Descriptions must accurately reflect what the course covers.
  • Assessment answers must be correct; a wrong answer key is treated as a defect.
  • Learner questions in your course should get a reply within five business days.

4. Pricing and revenue

You propose a price; we may cap prices during promotions we run, and will tell you before doing so.

Revenue is shared after payment-processing costs. Statements are produced monthly and payouts issued for balances above the minimum threshold shown in your dashboard.

5. Conduct

Do not solicit learners off-platform to avoid fees, ask for reviews in exchange for anything, or publish another instructor's material.

Treat learners professionally. Harassment or discrimination ends the relationship immediately.

6. Ending the relationship

You may unpublish a course at any time. Learners already enrolled keep access to it for twelve months, because they paid for it.

We may remove a course that breaches these terms, is inaccurate, or attracts sustained serious complaints. Where it is reasonable, we will raise the issue with you first.
